Easy FC Miles...

Sorry about starting a thread if people know about this.. but then the gods will lock it if I'm repeating someone anyway!:)
I took out Virginmoney life insurance last week, and to my surprise when visiting the credit card members shop I'm told that there's a points reward on offer:
Life Insurance - 5000 Points
Life Insurance with illness cover - 10000 points
After a brief but helpful conversation with Virgin money they have confirmed that for FC members the points usually added to the account (assuming you have a Virgin Mastercard), will be given as miles on a 1:1 ratio as soon as your policy starts.
[^] And it's reasonable value too!
I don't know how people feel about this but it seems like a fantastic offer to me (there's obviously some small print about keeping the policy for X months to retain the miles).
So if anyone has been considering life insurance...
(Oh and you get a free DVD player too [8D])
