silly question time

i am off to MCO in 14 days time and traveling in UC
(from LGW)
as i am going away for 4 weeks i like to take loads of newspapers with me so i can read some sensible , if old , news while i am away .
this usually means raiding w h smiths for bags full .

the question is di they give you papers in UC and if so which ?
dont want to buy them twice .

one more question
does anyone know what they give the kids in their back packs , if they still do them .
and do they have them in UC or is it only in econ.

getting so excited about my first trip in UC even more so now i have been told it is a suites plane .

my flight is VS027 on15th nov how do i check which plane it is i seem to remembr that there was a site somewhere i could check and will it tell me there if it is the converted plane or not
so sorry there are so many questions
thanks
steve

You can buy English papers only a day or half day old in many shops in Orlando, The mail is printed out there, the Sun, telegraph and Mirro are brought in on incoming flighhts, Even the toilet paper Guardian is available :D
Not too sure if the have the Independant though.....

back pack is given to the children, not much in it really.

Can't answer for LGW, but the LHR lounge has Times, FT, Telegraph, Grauniad, Mail and Mirror. There may also be some mags - GQ is about the only one I would pick up, though they have have Hello as well.

Don't rely on papers on the a/c - this can be patchy.

Looking at the VS web site, they still have the K-iD pack, though no word on what's in there.

If I remember correctly, there were a couple of magazines, and some crayons?
That was about it. I think.

You can pick up the daily mail in most grocery stores such as Publix and Win-Dixie in and around Orlando. These are printed daily in Miami so are the same as here.

In some stores you will be able to pick up day old papers as mentioned above.

I don't recall any magazines being available in the LGW clubhouse, although I do remember that there is a full range of papers including the mail, daily express, independant, telegraph etc.

The last kids pack I've seen included baseball cap, sunglasses, crayons, colouring book. (If I remember correctly).

thanks for all that

i really did not think that i would be able to buy english papers in FL

that is great --sorry to be so sad but i do like to have something decent to read

as for the back pack it is only for something to try to occupy my 18 month old so crayons and paper would be good
but i think i read earlier about taking a bag of familiar toys that we will do
got my tickets this morning

can anyone please give a link to the films that are on the lgw-mco route this month please
and if possible the current UC menu
many thanks

With regards to the menu...... sorry can't help on that one. Maybe somebody else will have an idea if they have just been on a recent flight.
