New Routes
Posted: 07 Mar 2004, 11:23The Virgin grapevine suggests that they might be starting a DXB service at the end of the year. They'll only do this if they can't get another India frequency DEL or Mumbai. They're also considering a new service to Amman.
Now I haven't really followed the LHR-HKG-SYD route news, except that it seems to be dogged by other airlines complaining to the EU and could take ages to sort out. Excuse my ignorance, but if it does fall through, couldn't they run the route via DXB, if this isn't what they're already thinking?
