A380 Wings "Run aground"!

You thought someone would have sorted this out by now!

I particularly like the bit:

"EA officials said the agency, the Welsh Assembly and the Department of Transport had all rejected the dredging plans, partly because of the problems of disposing of the surplus material"

What sort of a lame excuse is that? Surely they could fill a few old cole mines or valleys with it!:D

I grew up on the wirral and my parents still live there (hello Mum!) the Dee estuary is very spectacular and is avery impressive nature reserve however, there is a fair bit of inductry along its edge and is very wide.

All that said, watching the Airbus Super Transporter takeoff with a consignment of wings was quite a spectacular site.
