Will VS still fly the LHR-Lagos route once VN is up and running? Also, what happens to Port Harcourt?

Cheers,

As far as i know VS will still be doing the LOS route, namely becasue they are two seperate companies so don't really effect each others routes.

Plus the LOS flight is my fave so it'd better not be going anywhere.

VN will be domestic and International within Africa at first i believe.

Hi Guys!

I'm a Cabin Service Supervisor for Virgin Atlantic, but currently am 'on loan' to Virgin Nigeria to help with their start-up.

Currently we fly 2 ex VS A340-300s (G-VBUS and G-VSUN)on the LGW-LOS-JNB route (and from 2nd June LGW-LOS-DXB)!

The domestic routes are operated by VN B737s and a Balkan Holidays leased A320. The routes from LOS at the moment are as follows: Douala, Accra, Abuja, Dakar, Kano and Port Harcourt.

Virgin Nigeria is run as a separate airline from VS and the LGW-LOS is not replacing the LHR-LOS operated by VS.

The VN long haul flights are crewed by 9 VN Cabin Crew with 2 Cabin Service Supervisors and a Flight Service Manager from Virgin
Atlantic.

Please feel free to message me or post a thread if you have any questions!

Happy flying guys!

I think it mostly has to do with the fact that the crew are barly in the country for more that the required rest time.

Check your private messages.

Anyone with the scoops about VK's future destinations, Abidjan, Libreville (presumably will start in June).

Cheers!
