Will you still be able to request a sleep suit to get changed into on the daylight flights? Just that I normally like a quick snooze on the VS17 / 9 in winter when it's dark.

The website now says "On overnight flights we also provide our Upper Class passengers with a coveted sleepsuit to make it more comfortable for you to stretch out and sleep, without creasing your clothes"

No mention of daylight flights..

They do carry a supply on day flights, but you have to ask for them, and be prepared to insist!!;)

We carry 20 sleep suits on day flights for ad hoc requests. So it will be no problem if you ask the crew for one!

Have to say that the sizes are very generous.

I aksed for a large when i could have easily got away with a medium once i tried it on.

still they are very comfy for sitting aroud the house in :)

I have never been offered a small size.
I am 5'2" or does that mean I have to ask for child size.

On my UC flight last year the Sleep Suit was already waiting on the seat as we boarded. Wasn't sure if sizes were available at the time.

Mine say "small" on the label, even from last year.
I have always been offered a choice of sizes.

They typically only offer M or L sizes as they come round, but there are S ones available too (from memory, about 5 months ago).

I'm pretty sure there's no such thing as a Kids Suit - it'd just be the small one.

When you say the sizes are very generous, would a slightly vertically challenged woman be a definite small then? I would normally ask for a medium in anything to avoid the humiliation of having to admit that it didn't fit, but would I be able to invite a friend to share a medium? :D

What a girlie question!! [:I]

Never come across a small size in the latest cloth bagged style just medium and large ,but junior has plenty of small in the original grey and the grey and purple designs.

The mediums are quite generous

being non-vertically challenged [:o)]I find the suits to be a little snog in certain areas [:I] so you should be fine with a medium

Just S, M, L - the L fits me (just), so they're on the very generous side.....

Edna, I'd say you definitely need a small. I'm about 5'6" and a small is perfect for me.

Requested a sleep suit on VS043 on 6/11 to be told they weren't carrying any. [:(]

Ended up having to drink more to cheer myself up. :D

I requested a sleepsuit on the VS019 to SFO on 6/11 and got one, although i did ask within minutes of being onboard (and asked the FSM who i had met before on another flight). Being a LHR flight, I would imagine they have more Sleepsuits onboard than flights ex-LGW due to the number of UC seats though.

I did still end up having a few drinks at the bar anyway, not that i needed cheering up!! :D

I asked for a Small on that flight and the return on the party bus and recieved both without a problem ... actually, i have never not been given a Sleepsuit in my size.
