You will get some nice food, a few drinks and an also an
amenity kit.If you believe what you read on EBay, you are also entitled to take all of your glasses, blankets, lifejackets, safety cards etc. etc. In fact anything that isn't screwed down. [}:)];)[8D]
The second paragraph is a joke, by the way

If you are flying UC, remember to take the salt and pepper shakers with you when you disembark:)

I was at a wedding last week and someone noticed that some of the little butter dishes on the table appeared to have had a previous career in VS

100% serious. It wasn't all the butter dishes, just a couple...
Cheers

I have a dinner set from VA UCS but I got them off Ebay as opposed to pinched them.
My last UCS flight I was almost offered the salt and pepper pot but I didn't take them.
I did however take an extra ladies amenity kit ( I'm a geezer )
which was left on the seat unused for my mum, I am giving it to her on my PE flight in Nov as a suprise.
I have 3 blankets but asked before I took them on each occaision, they make perfect picnic blankets:)

To anybody else (non Vs fan) that would sound really terrible and geeky ... but i read that thinking 'what a pukka gift for her flight'! LOL I hope she feels the same excitement as we do. Shame they dont hand out the PE kits, otherwise your Mum could say 'No thanks, i have one of these' and wave her Ozwald Boateng!!

EGG - so you're only an accessory to the fact then? [}:)];). Wish I had people in my circle who want the OB kits... even friend's children have had enough. I never use them as I prepack an old Quantas amenity bag with the stuff I need - Airborne, aspirin, moisturiser etc.

I had always wondered why the loo roll often seemed to run out early in the flight. Judging by the above posts, it seems likely people nick them too:D
Of course the pink fast track immigration slips are quite desirable on the return flight Edited to add: so I am told;).
To the OP - the best part of the freebees is probably the pen, sso don't get too excited;).

Well the double suprise is I am adding Cartier Dragone samples and moisturisers with a miniture ltd edition pure parfum too, Dads getting a Santo's Du Cartier one too, lol.
I am spoiling them rotten, just wish my finances could have run to 5 UCS seats but it was beyond my reach, so its just me and my partner flying UCS the following year.

Sorry to be kinda pedestrian, but I normally find taking just the amenity kit enough to satisfy my kleptomanic urges

Even in Y, it's great - I use the translucent bag as a pencil case for school.

I wish they had a better kit in PE I mean you dont get anything to take with you to show you've been in PE (other than the same Kit as Y)
You'd think this would be a easy way to differenciate PE from Y
Sorry for going slightly OT!!

It's surprising to see how many people actually think the snooze zone cabin on an A343 is PE and PE is just regular Y.

Thanks Decker, I am a little bit proud of myself, opening another branch in the next couple of months, you would be suprised to hear
how many of my clients are VA fans, and having something positive to chat about can be just the icebreaker rather than a false expression of sympathy approach, celebrate a life I say fond remembrances last eternal.
When I go I am sure people will be saying "he loved holidays and he
liked Richard Bransons pro active approach to life and business"
Not to mention he never ever grew up, lol
