Right, someone must have an opinion on this. We are booked in UC Aug 30th VS15 When I spoke to special care they suggested we might like to stay in the CH until the majority of the pax are on board. Is this a good idea given that we have to get my son (35, 151/2 stone)out of his wheelchair onto the aisle chair then onto the plane. I don't really want to be doing this if the economy pax are still trying to board. Any advice/opinions will be gratefully received.

Arkansas here we come.

Dave,
As a wheelchair user myself Its generally easier to preboard before the flight starts general boarding.

As you have an empty plane and as much time as you need to settle.

However as your in UC its a bigger quieter cabin anyway so I dont think you'll need to preboard as you would in Y/W

You'll have a small Y cabin and a small W cabin to get though going left (most economy is to the right)

So I'd personally stay longer in the CH as its more relaxing than waiting on board.

But only you know your son's needs so make the call based on that.
