V-Flyer

Hi all,

I fancy heading over to Calgary (or Edmonton) for Christmas and was wondering whether anybody had any tips as to the easiest, quickest and cheapest way to get there if I use VA for the first leg (eg, going through San Fran)?

Any hints or suggestions would be most welcome (I'm looking at economy class for two - will use 20k miles for companion flight).
