The Clubhouse Page on va.com has now been updated:

"The first phase of our new flagship Clubhouse at Heathrow airport is now open! The Clubhouse is full of stunning features and interiors, with service designed to feel like a private members club. Whatever your mood, we think it's the ultimate preflight experience."

I guess the race is now on... :D;)

I'm going in as a guest on the 20th so can't pre-book, but am hoping for a Bronze Cow treatment! I'm pasty white and don't want to blind the locals and i've never had a fake tan before.

I hope they put AC into the new space. The old CH was getting pretty steamy in the summer...

Booked my treatment this morning :D

Although I couldnt help but chuckle when the poor dear specifically asked me for my flight number then did a not so good job of covering the mouthpiece while she asked a collegue what time the VS19 left at ;)

Well I booked my treatment earlier on and it was clear there were still some teething issues with the booking system.

When I asked how they were ensuring that only J and FC AU's were booking via the line, they waffled on about soemone checking on the door. Missing my point completely about people who shouldn't be using the pre-booking line and therefroe filling up appointments. They obviously need to check to make sure people are FC Au or are indeed travelling in J.

Thanks,
Richard

Yeah I did think afterwards that I could have just gotten the phone number off the web and called up. All they took was name and flight no.

Well, technically they could see if you're eligible from that info - they can see the fare basis / FC status in your PNR. Interesting that they don't seem to be looking for either though!

I could hear pages in an appointment book flicking rather than manicured nails tapping on a reservations computer ;)
