A colleague and I had booked to go to MCO in September using M+M (my miles), and now he's got to go on to Dallas and it means that the return leg is not going to be used. Any thoughts on what I can do to get any value out of the unused return sector???

Cheers.

Section 7 of T's & C's for M+M:

Tickets are non changeable and non refundable.

Sorry - but "rules is rules". They're unlikely to bend them in this case, as it's such a restricted fare. That leaves you with 2 options - either fly the sector or throw the return leg away. [:(]

Realistically, I think he can kiss it goodbye. The MpM fares are even more restricted than the cheapest revenue fares. Any changes may even jeopardise the outbound, so I wouldn't be that tempted to push it myself.

Make him fly back from MCO or make sure you put a high valuation on the miles you've lost.
