Hi Everyone,

been lurking a while and finally decided to join in :)

I searched but can't find out if the credit card companion reward voucher has an expiry limit. I was awarded one in June and wondered how long I have to book (or fly) before it expires ? Is it three years like miles ?

TIA for any help.

Alec :)

This is from VS T&C, which can be found here -

Flying Club Gold members receive one complimentary companion ticket upon renewing their Flying Club Gold membership each year. The complimentary companion ticket is valid for 12 months from the date that it is awarded, and all travel must be booked within this 12 month period. However the travel dates do not have to fall within this 12 month period. All other companion ticket terms & conditions apply (see clause 4.3).

I assume that the Credit card companion tickets will be subject to the same rules.

Yes, I can confirm the CC companion vouchers are good for 1 yr. You need to have booked within that yr but you can travel up to 11 months later, so infact you could say that It lasts nearly two yrs

Hi Aleck,
In what form did your voucher come in? Is it sent by post or by email?

Neither - they're "virtual vouchers". They'll appear in your Flying Club account statement as a seperate line with the date that it was issued.
