Branson/VAM Announcement in Two Weeks

According to a statement by SRB on Bloomberg, in two weeks he will make an announcement regarding Virgin America. It's not known what will be included in the annoucement, but seeing as VAM's website is constantly updating their job openings (with less availability I might add), it seems as though this may be the time when an offical, non-changing startup date is announced. Hopefully, if this annoucement is good news and not bad, it will include routes and aircraft.

{edited by Bazz to include link to Virgin America website}

(edited by VS-EWR to change "like" to "link". Hehehe.)

But it makes me wonder. JetBlue have already brought so many of the wonderful initiatives of VS to the domestic US market. What does Virgin America think it can offer?

Even if it just matches JB, it can stir up the price wars, which will make travelling cheaper for us! I really hope Virgin America succeeds, I'm behind it 100%!

Yes, I am a huge supporter of VAM and have tried to stay as up to date as possible. I set my google alerts to email me when any news has virgin america in it. Hehe.

If this is another missed date I will be angry. [V]

I'm on the VAM mailing list, but they seem to never send anything out... they do have an awful lot of staff over there for nothing going on though... they must be secretly at something ;)

Let's hope so,even thought he HP agreement is still good I have a feeling that it's not going to last to long,that will limit my choices to airline's i'll fly,DL sucks,CO is ok but kind of limited out of LAS,of course there's Hawaian,but again limited.
