Hi,

I dont think this has been covered before, but I was in Harrods today and as part of a "British" theme thing they have going on they have a UCS on display in the front window for passers by. Some posters around with the slogan "The Truley British Airline".

Was nice to see the UCS which looked like it was turning a few heads. Shame its not until next June that i'll be on it again. [:(]

I wonder how much that's costing VS though [:0]...

Harrods have produced a micro site for the promotion, but I can't see any mention of VS on it... I haven't looked at it all though.

We saw it when we were passing by this month,I had to point it out to the wife to show why we are flying UC next year.

...and a bit further down Brompton Road in another Harrods window is a McLaren Mercedes SLR and a McLaren F1 car complete with simulator... if your interested you can have a go around an F1 circuit

The UCS was getting a lot of attention when we were up there last week.

Has anyone (or can anyone) grabbed a picture of it, out of interest?

im looking through the pic's of London we took,I don't remember taking one of the suite(I know what was I thinking [B)]) I didn't see any paperwork with it,IMHO it looked like the one that was sitting in LHR last year.

I would far rather be flying in the Suite though than looking at it in the window of London's answer to an Egyptian bazzar (albeit with much higher prices!!)

Great publicity though but, as has been mentioned, I am sure it came at a price.

I have posted some pics in the "Views" Gallery, sorry for the poor quality but they were taken with my P900 and there is also some reflection from the window. At least it will give those of you who have not been able to see it in the flesh a good idea of what it looks like.

It is themed along the lines of Harrods current promo for all things British.
