I achieved enough tier points to go up to Au at the begining of September. How long does it normally take for the "magic" card to come through?

I remember from somewhere that it's usually within about 3-4 weeks. You can always call them to check it's on the way

The good news though is that you access to all the Au benefits right away, which is good if you have another flight to take soon etc..

From what has been posted in previous threads about this, there is a monthly 'sweep', when all of the upgrades and downgrades are sorted out.

Good news if you qualify a day or two before the sweep. Not so good if you qualify the day after the sweep.
