Evening All

I am in the process of trying to manage my flights on line but I am not having a lot of luck..!![?]

I fly out on October 14th on flight VS027 and return on 28th October. I have been given conflicting information as to when I should be able to allocate seats.

My holiday was booked through Virgin Holidays, and I have entered in the booking reference of 12345/S06 and I recieve a message telling me that my booking cannot be found.

Can anyone please advise me when I should be able to view my flights, and how I can go about doing this, before blood is spilt..!!

Any info gratefully received.
Sezz

Hi Sezz,

That reference (12345/S06) is the holiday booking reference. You actually need the Virgin Atlantic reference ("PNR") to manage your flights online.

This is a 6 character, (numbers & letters) code that lists your flight booking alone.

Virgin Holidays should be able to give this to you, failing that, a call to VS with your flight dates/names will do the trick [y]

I have been able to manage VS flights with only the VH
booking reference before. But I've heard other seen
other threads were people have trouble/no trouble with this.

Could there big some bug in the system that only certain
flights show up with the VH reference ?

VH reference has NEVER worked for me, they will however give you the correct code to enter if you ask them. My last one was three letters one number followed by two more letter. I know it by heart now cause I checked so often that my seats were not moved.

VH Will Release Seats About 10 Months Prior To Departure, When Virgin Holidays Gives Passenger Names From Its Allocation Of Seats To Virgin Atlantic.

At This Time You Should Be Able To View Your Booking With The VH Reference (I Had The Same Troble With My September Flights Earlier In The Year)

Ok Madmilomutt,

I had the same issue for a fly drive i've booked with VH in August. Tried the VH reference several times over the course of a couple of weeks without success.

Rang VS and asked them if they could help and they said that seats were not allocated until the balence was paid to Virgin Holidays about 8 weeks before we're due to go.

By chance a few weeks later I was checking another booking with VS and thought I'd recheck the VH booking. This time it let me in, select seats, and gave me a VS reference.

As others have said this would have been in October about 10 months before we go.

Good luck
