IATA survey - genuine?

I've received an e-mail today inviting me to participate in an IATA survey on behalf of Virgin Atlantic.

e-mail says:

Dear Sir/Madam,

As a Frequent Flyer member of Virgin Atlantic's Flying Club, you have been selected to participate in an IATA Frequent Flyer survey, as endorsed by Virgin Atlantic, in order to share your valued opinions regarding the Flying Club programme.

Your feedback will contribute towards ongoing evaluation of this Frequent Flyer programme, enabling Virgin Atlantic to continually improve the different aspects of its Frequent Flyer services to suit your travel expectations.

This survey should take approximately 15-20 minutes to complete and Virgin Atlantic would like to offer you 500 flying club miles as a thank you for doing so:

Web link provided is based in Denmark.

I don't mind doing surveys, and 500 flyinc club miles are being offered - but is this genuine, or is it spam?

Anyone know [?]

easy way to find out is to give the FC a call

Also received but looking at the question does seem to relate to the programme and does not ask for any personal information.

I rang IATA today, definitely genuine, plus when you click on the survey link, has Virgin's logo. Seems as though lots of the airlines are participating.

Richard,
What a wonderful opportunity to share your input. And I think it's great that VS is continuing to solicit pax input, particularly from FC members.

Thanks for feedback.

Have now completed survey - and will look out for my miles :)

I also took the opportunity (per other thread on v-flyer) to suggest more benefits for Silver members flying PE/UC.

Rich.
