Just got this off of planepictures, looks interesting so far, I figured they wouldn't go for a red body but a blue one, oh well. Still nice to see they are finally getting off the ground.

Gullible me has to ask: how do we know that this is a VS-America aircraft?

According to the =t_A320&airline[]=7032]production lists WWDJ is a Virgin America a/c.

Thanks, Phil. VS-EWR and you are to be commended [y] as I did not even know that these lists existed. In my Neanderthal attempt to figure this out (as there wasn't anything save a red engine cowling to guide me) I checked on "N2616" which showed this plane having had multiple lives already.

Exciting news, certainly, that aircraft are being readied!

Umm, no.

It's just out of the factory, pre paint-job. ;)

Don't feel badly Treelo. See what a dumb question I asked? We don't know if we don't inquire! :D

S'pose that's one of the advantages of being 'of a certain age', Chuck. People either expect dumb questions or excuse them:D;)

Have they decided/published details of the final livery?

I don't think so, the only ones available so far seem to be fantasy liveries.

Apologies for being slightly OT, having looked again at the A380 production list I see no mention of VA, yet I am sure the last time I checked this out, VA was listed for aircraft #9 - anyone have any comments?

To answer my own question, I guess it is because VA have slipped delivery from 2006 to 2008.

I always thought this would be a cool tail.
But then again I have trouble matching socks!
