Hi -
I'm flying in May on G-Class award tickets from Delta R/T MIA-LHR (VS 005/006). If anyone can answer these questions, it would be most appreciated.
Will we have access to the LHR Revivals Lounge when we arrive and the Clubhouse when we depart?
Also, can people seated in 16 A & 16D (Upper Class Suites) see each other accross the aisle or does the frame of the suite get in the way?
Thank you very much

Hi Micharlsrq, welcome
To the best of my knowledge you will not be able to access the arrivals lounge. This is reserved for full paying passengers only and does not even allow guests.
MIA-LHR is usually a 343, but you don't mention which aircraft type you have. Because of the slight angle the UCS are set at when sat back you cannot really see the person opposite, on sitting forward slightly you can, but remember there is approx 8-10ft betweeen where your respective heads will be so it can seem a little distant. Remember that on the UCS you do have the option to take meals etc together sitting opposite one another on one of your UCS. One person sits on the foot stool. This is a nice touch, but the foot stool is not meant for 6'3" large chaps like myself.
Hope this helps, I am sure others will add to what I have said, but stick around and I am sure you will find the other parts of the site very useful.

Just noticed I missed your question about using the Clubhouse when you depart. Yes you can use the Clubhouse, which actually now makes me start to doubt whether I am correct about the Revivials lounge. I'm sure someone will jump in to confirm or deny.

All UCS passengers can use Revivals. I think the exception is OpUps but even then I'm not too sure.

All Upper Class passengers holding a VS coded ticket, that was paid for with their miles or cash can use Revivals. There is no such restriction about not being able to use it unless you're a full fare paying passenger.
There are only two groups that may not use it: Op-Ups and those on codeshare tickets (ie: Continental, witha CO prefix on their ticket).

[:?]I know this has been answered elsewhere, but can't seem to hunt it down in a search, so please pardon or redirect:
Can one use a G ticket for the CH RATHER than Revivals when facing a long morning's connection wait (incoming VS G, departing BMI?
cheers,

Yes,you can use Revivals (income VS/go BD), But you have to clear immagration (sp) and customs. Do not go to the FCC (Flight Connections Centre). After using Revivals, walk to the BD terminal and checkin. May people here on VF do this to connect to MAN, EDI, Ireland, etc.
You cannot use the VS CH if you are inbound VS G/outbound BD for security, etc. reasons.

Hi Roadrunner,
Unfortunately not. CH is for departing VS flights only. If you have a *G card, however, you can use BMI's own lounge...
