IAD flight complaint - Article

Interesting link from the news section of the front page.

We could not even get up to use the bathroom. We were trapped on the tarmac, on a plane that didn't work, without food or water.

When we finally got moving again, several hours later, our aircraft narrowly avoided a collision with an Aer Lingus jet.


And there's a little gem in there about cellphones if anyone's keen to restart that particular debate ;)

I would be more concerned at the last sentance about the 15K miles and enrollment into the FF program[:0] What if they didn't want to fly VA again? Then Virgin have in reality offered them nothing at all!

Sorta same thing happen to me and Dad when coming back to JFK but was a two hour delay. They turn on V:Port, let us use the bathroom but no extra meal/drink service. The delay was caused by ATC computer problem and all happened at the gate.

I was happy but I was in PE, my favourite way to leave LHR (UCS coming).
