Sorry if this is a silly question (but have never flown UC before) but can you re-enter the Clubhouse if you leave it once you have already been in (say to do some shopping)?
Many thanks in adfance for any answers.

Hi there
Welcome to the forum
Yes, you can come and go from the CH as you desire - i have done so myself to grab a few bits and bobs from the shops - although once you are in there i doubt you would want to leave - after all, there is the food and drink to consume, the treatment to have, etc etc

As Sarah says, you can come and go as you want, but take you boarding card and passport with you ( but you can leave your bags etc in the CH), especially at LHR, as for some reason, you have to go through a seperate mini-security area to get back to the main shopping area in T3 departures.
Out of interest anyone know why this is?
Regards

I don't think its a silly question. As HF says the answer is yes. If it is the LHR CH you are thinking of, you have to have your bags scanned again as you go back into the shops and so on, which is a minor PIA.
Although HF commented lightheartedly about you not wanting to leave the CH once you were in, there is some truth in it. Personnaly I would do my shopping before going in. Even better, if you want booze and fags, why not buy it though VS duty free shop. You can preorder it and you get a few miles. [y]

Mitchja mentioned leaving bags in CH, is it safe or are there lockers for them in CH?

They have a bag check. At least the blur of a memory of my last visit seems to tell me so. I was too excited to take much notice.

It depends on the CH. At LHR for example there is (ISTR) an attended cloakroom where you are issued with a ticket. This is a big impovement on the old LHR CH and other CH which just have an unattended cloakroom.
ISTBC but I think you are not supposed to leave without your bags (security again) although how that would be enforced is highly debatable!

You're in an area where there are both arriving and departing pax. to keep the departing (retail) area sterile, you have to go through this process.
Just along from the lounge cluster at 12c, there is the SAS and Air Canada lounge: the process here is even more crazy. If there is an arriving flight at the nearby gate, you cannot gain entry to the SAS lounge until all the arriving pax have disembarked and walked past.
Cheers, Howard

Been there a few times, trying to EXIT the lounge, and being held back by the lounge-guardians [:0]. Seems ridiculous, but I'm sure they have their reasons (and I'm sure it makes someone, somewhere, feel safer [ii])

The good news is that this craziness is now over, as there is now proper "grade seperation" of arriving and departing pax in that area of T3.

Ahh, makes sense now because when i was there the other week we went back in to the terminal and did not have to have bags scanned etc again
