Help!!! I have a companion ticket that expires at the end of the week, and I hate to waste it. I can travel on (scottish) school holidays only. Where is great value at the moment? I plan to buy a premium for me and the lad, and get the wifes on the companion ticket. Where would the panel suggest I try? I had a look at San Fransico, but on the dates I wanted they were going to charge 1500 quid a seat - too much right now, being January and all.
Any ideas for great value Premium Economy seats ?
cheers

Dubai is very cheap at the moment, and Orlando is usually good value.
The best thing might be to call Flying Club with your travel dates and get them to do the number crunching. They can tell you want is and isnt available. If you can get hold of a nice S fare then you can really make use of the Companion Ticket.
Otherwise, weekends to BOS/WAS or NYC usually prove good value.

Looked at Dubai, but the hotel's I fancied were extortionate. Any recommendations for good quality hotels at good prices?

Hiya
Unfortunately, Dubai hotels seem to be very highly priced at the moment.
You could try
http://www.traveldubai.co.uk or
http://www.godubai.co.uk to look at rates, and Expedia is good for comparing rates.
Let me know if you find anything good as several of us are off there around March/April time.

MCO routes can be expensive when trying to get a companionable fare, eaily can be in excess of £1000 and I have seen as much as £1400. Plus during normal kids holidays MCO hotel prices go up. Have you thought about non traditional places such as IAD or BOS?

Boston's nice this time of year (clothes shopping, etc) but a little cold.
During February/March, L fares (companionable, upgradeable) are £348 + taxes, K fares (basic PE, for the lad) are £541 + taxes, S fares (companionable, upgradeable) are £888 + taxes.

Hmmm.. Boston sounds do-able. Never been, and I can probably squeeze in a the school break in Feb.
