Dear All

I have 30,000 miles and am thinking of going to Japan in October. I've noticed some very decent miles+money flights (2,000 miles plus £500) for Japan in October and wondered if I could buy one of these miles+money flights and then use my air miles to upgrade to Premium Economy. Can't seem to find any details as to whether doing two "offers" in one flight is OK?

Cheers

Sadly not, because the fare code you get with the MpM fare is not an upgradeable fare. You might get lucky at check in if they need to do cabin moves, but if you're goal is to travel PE, that's a bit of a risk.

There are some quite good M+M PE deals available for October.

Granted they are a lot more than £500, but if you really want PE, they may be the best way to go (no miles or tier points though[:(] )
