I think we have a new Head Bargain Hunter on this forum!

OK, where are these tickets to? Please say Orlando, because they aren't looking too cheap for this summer and i think i'm going July/August. Can you get PE tickets via CO on a codeshare?

Not sure but I don't think so.
tickets were....... sfo
I wonder if it is possible to calll Virgin direct once you have booked and book the "upgrade" to PE in continental? I have done it with virgin tickets in the past?
Any ideas?

Nope, CO has seats in Eco and Upper Only - No PE.
There is no upgrades available using CO prefix tickets.
As for MCO prices, can you not hold out for September when it is still warm, and the kids are back at school. I was quoted c £950 for a S Class PE ticket the other day, so I can take a companion for 30,000 miles - which with the taxes works out at ~£500 each.
Thanks,
Richard

You're not wrong - a quick check of opodo reveals fares over a grand in economy for 1st august, dropping to around 500 for 15th septemeber.
The companion ticket idea is an interesting one - 500 quid each for PE + 30k miles sounds good.
Upper Class looks good too at under 1400 for what I assume is Z class (so no companion ticket option there?)
Thanks for the pointers.

Oops, forgot - Z's can't be used as a qualifying revenue fare basis for a companion, just like a K PE can't.
