Hi, I came across this site a year ago, have always enjoyed the forum but never felt strong enough about anything to post or felt I had anything to add to all those experts out there. But, the changes in March has stired me up!

This is because I fly to Asia Pacific (Hong Kong, Singapore, Australia), and for this region it is definitely a step backwards:

- N class still does not qualify
- YBL now only earns 100%.
- And an extra 10K for econony/premium reward flights (to HK for example).
- Lost Silver this month so no extra 25%!

Have flown with Virgin for the last 10 years and they have always been my preferred airline.

I'm now condisering whether to move to Kris Flyer as with their 15-25% discount for online redemption, there is not much of a difference. I can also use SIA for many other destinations using SIN as a base. SIA also base their membership upgrades on miles flown rather than teir points (and they already give 25% extra on their silver).

Shame, I've got to know the cabin crew and have always enjoyed my flights.... Still deciding!
