Paul Charles, previously BBC presenter & reporter is now taking on the role.

I do especially like this part:

Richard Branson, Chairman of Virgin Atlantic, also commented:

"As my memory is so bad our primary criteria in selecting a replacement for Paul was finding someone who answers to the same name. Paul Charles fits the bill admirably and is apparently not too bad at PR (although we’ll soon train that out of him)."

Does that mean it looks good for you and I to get jobs at VS then? If all of his employees are called Paul, no memory problems for SRB.

That Paul Charles is a good egg. I've had the pleasure of working with him. Branson's quote is perfectly witty (and I possibly authored by Mr Charles)...
