Flying the 10th April to New York (EI105)with the family and have just upgraded the 4 of us to premier class as a suprise - It has been 13 years since I was in premier class on EI and was wondering if anybody has flown recently with EI to JFK nad what should we expect? I have also booked the VIP check in that menas we do not have to go through the main terminal as it has its own security and with it being good Friday I would imagine this is a good move - Has anybody else also tried this VIP check in and lounge?

Many thanks for all your advise in advance

Not sure about the VIP Check-in, I know that Premier Class used to be a very highly rated product - and the customs clearance in Dublin saves time too.

Hope you have a great trip and look forward to reading your trip report! :)

Would anybody know where I could find out which aircraft is scheduled to fly on the EI105 this Friday?

Yes, you can find out next Friday at Dublin Airport.

Apart from knowing it will be an A330-300 series, there is no way of knowing which one it will be until on the day itself

EI probably have but, as we have discussed in the main forums, planes do go tech, get delayed or otherwise are unable to operate the flight to which they have been assigned. In addition, like VS there are also security issues around releasing such information ahead of time.
