France is not one of the eleven 'Feel at Home' countries. It will charge you to roam instead of coming out of your 30 day allowance.

But if you are in the US or the other ten 'Feel at Home' countries and have no need to call the local numbers then this Three deal really is too good to be true but it is true.

There is always the 'MacDonalds Option'; log onto their free wifi at one location and you appear to pick up every other outlet as well. I guess this shows how saturated the American market is by fast food outlets.

Watching my iPad turn itself into a satnav was slightly unnerving coming off the I70 into Denver. It was rather like the scene in 'Independence Day' when the alien space craft powers-up.

Miami and The Keys are extremely well signposted, so you shouldn't have that much trouble getting around.

One word of caution; fill the hire car up away from MIA as the number of fuel stops drops off exponentially as you approach the airport.
