V-Flyer

Yesterday in the mail arrived a promotion for VS Upper Class and the Berkeley in London. The promo, which is advertised as a benefit of the Amex International Airline program, provides a free companion UC ticket when the Plat Cardholder pays for a full fare Upper. The complimentary limo transfer benefit, Revivals, the Clubhouse, etc. are all touted as well.

The Berkeley tie-in provides a third night free if a two night stay is booked.

Some people will see this as a fab deal.

You've always had this on Continental codeshare flights with Platinum and Centurion cards, but the same comments as for the Au companion fare apply, I guess!
