Has anyone stayed at the Hilton Maldives Resort & Spa Rangali Island..im looking at the website now and my word.

I haven't stayed there myself but know of people who have. They say the resort was/is fantastic and couldn't fault it at all. Having said that I have stayed at a 3* resort in the Maldives and it was as good as 4/5* elsewhere that I've been to.

If you had any specific questions about the Hilton Resort I can try and get answers out of them.

Just thinking ahead for vacation plans..considering a RTW in 08..was going to be 07 but we dont have enough time spare [:#].

I love the idea of being in the over water rooms,I wonder how it compares to some of the Tahiti resorts.

Would be pretty expensive to squeeze the Maldives into a RTW ticket. Much more accessible to get Fiji or Tahiti into a RTW fare.

I think Mauritius looks nicer than Maldives. My friend just came back from Maldives had a great time though. My other friend is having honeymoon at The Hilton in Mauritius in October and that looks excellent!!! That is situated on the best part of the Mauritian Coast.
