Mark,

We were there in March '05 and it was perfect. Still hot but nothing like the intense heat of summer. Can highly recommend any of the three locations in Madinat Jumeriah to stay at - especially Dar Al Masyaf :)

Cheers

James

We were there in April this year - a little bit later than your plans but like James found it perfect. Be careful where you book because of the level of construction in Dubai especially near the Hilton Jumeirah and the Sheraton Jumeirah. We stayed in the Hilton Dubai Creek which was great but not near the beach. It didn't matter to me as we are not beach people but you might prefer to be nearer.

I found Dubai a great destination for a long weekend break

Worth pointing out that there's no building work going on in vicinity of Dar Al Masyaf as evidenced by the recent excellent reviews on Tripadvisor

I'd definitely take it![y]

It's still hot, but compfortable - it's not one mad dash from one air-conditioned bubble to the next. Although, having said that, I do like the occassional 45 degree heat[8D]
