password problems

Anyone else been told to change their password to theie amex card? I just treid to log on and got a message that I had to change my password. I tried to, following their stated parameters and got a message that it wasn't valid.....

Just hanging on the phone to Amex, they say there was an update this am but it went swimmingly.

Yes, and new password was accepted fine [?]

Have just spent 30 mins on the phone, then husband came up with the fact that it might not be accepted if I had an '@' in the word - which I did. Smarty pants, I did a substitute and it worked fine - the net guy at MBNA hadn't thought of that.... me, I'm just glad I got it sorted!
