Free Internet at Hilton? For Gold/Diamond

Hilton HHonors Gold or Diamond VIPs can now select complimentary high-speed internet access at Hilton and Doubletree® hotels. It’s one more choice in an ever-expanding array of HHonors VIP In-Hotel Benefits.

So I take this as "If we can't offer you an upgrade, breakfast or Executive level floor; there is a benefit we can give you." Now if it is a business trip work should pay for the internet access in the room, so what then is the benefit to the traveler to pick a Hilton property over another brand?

Where did you find this internet Ben?
It pains me paying £15 a night in the UK for internet access.

:DI've just read this topic whilst sitting in the lobby of Doubletrees Metropolitan New York using the free connection.
I ask the guy on reception and he's never heard of the offer. I'll look into later. Don't want to miss out as I'm a VIP member
