Any help? Want to go to Muscat in November for a break. Can't figure whether to go Gulf Air or BA. Concerned that BA will be 777 and therefore Business class will be in that big 8 across cabin. And, if I go Gulf Air Biz I'll get VS mileage... but does anyone know if the Business product is any good?

What would you do?

Everything I'vr read about GF seems to indicate it's luck of the draw with them - some horrendous reviews, some good. J class seat pitch its 48-50" which is something to keep in mind.

Some BA flights to the Gulf are with the old CW craddle seat 2-3-2 perfecly good seat and better than the new coffin.

Just looking at Gulf Air's website at http://www.gulfairco.com/index/index.asp and its said that it has received a award for most improved airline and best food.

just had a look at there site and seem's there geting better after there 3year turn around plan.
