Anyone used miles to book Eurostar ?

We are off to Brussels for a long weekend (frites, chocolate mmmmm)on Saturday on Eurostar. I used miles to book two returns in Leisure select.
I am struggling to reserve our seats. FC said to call Eurostar and Eurostar say that seat requests can only be done by FC. So I am stuck in the middle.
I wouldn't normally mind where we sit but at 27 weeks pregnant I want to try and get the 2 seats by the window that are also next to the aisle so I don't bother anyone with frequent trips to the loo[:I].

Has anyone successfully managed to select seats on Eurostar with a miles booking ?

Thanks
L2H

Never done this myself but what I understand is you have to exchange your VS award voucher at any Eurostar ticket office for the actual Eurostar tickets with the seat reservations. Eurostar is correct in saying they won't be able to allocate you specific seats unless you have a valid booking (ie one with a PNR). You can make specific seat requests at the ticket office when you exchange your voucher.

Thanks guys.
I think rather than spend hours on the phone trying to reserve seats we'll try and get there early to exchange our vouchers and hope for the best.
We will certainly be checking out the champers bar, but none for me and bump[:#].
There has been quite an interesting documentary about the renovation of St. Pancras. I think it's on again tonight at 10pm ? Mr L2H is looking forward to taking lots of arty piccies.

Really looking forward to the whole experience.

We had a look around last weekend quite spectacular especially as all the original steel work was made by Butterley (Mrs JPs Dad and Grandad both worked there) and its only about 5 miles from where we live.We couldn't get near the champagne bar as the station was full of rubber neckers like us[:D]
