The piggy bank permitting I am thiking of going to either Toronto or Vancouver in September / October.
Having flown in UC on my last couple of flights I am now v reluctant to turn right on planes (or on some planes walking past the first set of curtains!)
So any comments on comparing the Air Canada Executive First and the BA Club World would be greatly appreciated.
There is not much difference in price (at the moment) so its all down to quality of service etc.
Shame VS don't do any Canadian destinations ! [V][V]

Just remember that unless youre paying full fare, or hold Silver Status or above in the BAEC, you will not be able to pre-assign your seats in Club World. Instead youll have to wait until OLCI at +24hrs & try to grab whats left of the seats. This could even result in you not being able to sit next to your travelling companion.
This may not be an issue for you, but I think it is appalling & refuse to fly BA any more because of this [V]
So for that reason alone, my vote would be Air Canada.

Without getting into a debate about seat pre assignments for Silver and Gold BAEC.
I would go with BA even though the Air Canada Suite looks appealing I dont think it has been rolled out across the fleet ?
My experience with staff on Air Canada was not great and left a lot to be desired.
Just personal preference.... having flown with BA now quite a lot the service is pretty much spot on and very consistant.
Cheers

Careful on EXACTLY which plane you'll be on with AC.
The new beds are great.
The old archairs SUCK.
Take that from someone who knows....
If it's an armchair flight, go with BA. If beds, AC.

BA? AC?
What about Air Transat? All about
Club Transat. It's in a league of it's own. Literally.
Also, don't forget that LHR-YYZ is codeshared with other airlines, so for example, it might be worth checking what BMI are charging (operated by AC)

Oh I flew Air Transat (insert 'h' between the 's' and the 'a' for my opinion of it) years ago.
NEVER AGAIN !!!

True..
However we're travelling in First Class [8D]
So seat assignments are not an issue, as they are allowed in First.
Also its going to be my last hurrah with them as Im blowing all my miles on a redemption, so its very much a case of So long and thanks for all the Fish [;)]
