Well the story can be seen here, the youtube video is well worth watching.

In the last few hours it has been viewed a half a million times, national news channels are covering it, Yahoo has it on their home page and United has now decided to pay for the guitar they broke to be fixed, good for Dave Carroll.

Just a quick update on this one.

United lost his guitar last week on a flight from Saskatchewan to Denver.... Way to go UA [y]

My wife had a very expensive pair of boots stolen out of my delayed golf bag on the way back from ATL. Put a claim into UA for over 600 and they paid by cheque within 6 weeks, they also gave us $100 each to offset against future flights. Top airline in my opinion.
