They've decided not to appeal to the Supreme Court.

Be interesting to see what whoever buys it decides to do with it.

BAA have chosen to operate it as a LCC hub, but would a new owner seek to attract more "prestigious" airlines and more long-haul destinations?

Or is it too far out of London to seriously compete with LHR for business travellers?

Walking through door fee. £5 per foot
Use of moving walkway. £10
Trolley. £5 per bag
Toilet fee. No.1 50p. No.2 £1
Departure board use. Free. Well, they have to have some positives

Supreme Court - are we the 51st state ? I know it has been around for a while but you would think we could be a bit more imaginative.

Anyway, should be interesting to see where this one heads.

Will it make much difference? Have flights become cheaper from LGW since it was sold? The only thing the new owners seem to of done on their own is change the signs... (I now think it's quite poorly sign posted inside on how to get out...)

Just heard that GIP are likely to get Stansted...

I thought forcing that BAA to sell LGW EDI and STN was so there wasn't a monopoly. Currently EDI, LGW and LCY are owned by GIP and likely to get STN?
