Best Gatwick Lounge With Kids?

Hello you wonderful people.

I'm flying from LGW on a forthcoming trip, never done that with the kids before. After a positive experience of the Serviceair lounge at GLA and with a few hours to kill at Gatwick I was wondering what, in your experience, is the best lounge in the North Terminal. Generally the word here is the No.1 Lounge, does that change when I throw a 8, 6 and 2 year old into the mix?

We're arriving about 11am and leaving 1.30pm so will need a bit of food too.

No.1 Lounge £81.00
Aspire Lounge £74.66

And by the end of this topic I'm going to spell longue correctly.

Are you flying with virgin holidays? If so v-room may be a good shout. Separate area for kids

We've not tried the Aspire Lounge, but I think the No 1 would be fine for your family. Its much bigger than the one at the South Terminal and has a small cinema which I think shows children's films and a play area for very young ones.

Thank you, that detail was missing from the website. For the sake of an extra £5 (for the 5 of us) prefer the look of the No.1.

I've done both, the No 1 lounge is worth the extra few quid, it's nicer, better food and drink selection etc
