Discussing some other things at Flight Centre today and manager noted that Cathay to start a direct Hong Kong flight from this November from Manchester.

That's all I know, but a major win for MAN by the sounds of it and a strengthening factor to Oneworld... Why fly VS down to LHR if this becomes available...

Indeed it was announced a few weeks back.....starts in December

A 77W too with the latest products in a three-class configuration - J, W and Y.

I'd say given BA is in Oneworld it will effect them more than VS?
