Now to put this in context. My luggage allowance increases dramatically from HKG to Auckland, on our second leg so thinking about "stocking up".
Don't need:
1. new suits
2. knock off watches
3. luxury gift items
General clothing/ "stuff" most likely (is M&S similar price in HKG?) Uniglo for mini...you get the gist..
any pointers worth hunting out.
NH

hmmm it tricky indeed given that the three things on your "dont need" list are all readily available in HKG lol.
Is there really an M&S in HKG? that would dissappoint me lol

Yes loads of M&S shops in HK including Food only shops. Think they fly in food daily. Not sure which airline.
I do recall during the Icelandic cloud problem few years back the shelves were bare except for the bulk items they shipped over e.g tinned produce.
On items to buy electrical items such as cameras, computers are usually good value plus my friends all buy contact lenses and glasess in HK

Take care with electrical goods. I bought a Samsung Galaxy Gear for my daughter at the beginning of May. When I got home it was faulty, and the only way of sorting the problem was to take it ourselves to Samsung/Broadway in Hong Kong!! We are currently negotiating with the credit card company.

Electrical gizmos, camera lenses, etc. - provided they have a worldwide warranty (as noted above).
I went into an M&S on Kowloon quite recently but didn't notice the prices. There are certainly lots of branches in HK.

Apple products should be a good deal.
There are a number of M&S stores in HK, as far as the M&S food products they are more expensive and I have not taken much notice of their clothing range.
