Gatwick lounges

We are flying to Cyprus out of Gatwick North later in the year, and sad to say, going with a Charter airline :-( so will not have any lounge access.

Are any of you experts able to recommend which paid for lounge is worth booking, bearing in mind our flight is 7.25 so we’ll need it to be one that opens pretty early.

Many thanks for any replies.

We have been happy with no1 lounge in the past, but for a 7.25 flight I don't think I would bother with a lounge.

I agree. Leave it as late as you dare to check in (an hour should be fine) and maximise sleep.

But if you must visit a lounge the No.1 is probably the best of a mediocre bunch.

as above, can't see any point in paying for lounge access on an early flight

i've got priority pass so i've used the no1 lounge many times, but i always start by getting a decent brekkie in one of the restaurants, the no1 lounge fare is unimpressive, i'd say it's gone downhill over the years

access to the premium security channel offered with lounge access is of little value - sometimes i've even skipped it as it's been backed up whilst the standard channel has been queue free

Sounds as though the lounge is unnecessary then. Thank you.
