I just received through the post today an offer from Amex,

For every 25 you spend in one of the stores listed ( ie Books etc, Virgin Megastores,HMV etc) you get an extra 250 MR points

Up to a maximum of 6000 points.

The offer is valid until 31st Jan 2004.
