Best BA lounge at Terminal 4 for First Class

Hey guys

Against my better judgement I have been tempted to the dark side for a work trip to the US next week with BA given that they are doing a free oneway upgrade to first if you are travelling Club World return.

As a BA First virgin I want to get full VFM out of it and make sure I do a complete comparison to VA Upper Class and the Clubhouse so I was wondering if anyone had an recommendations as to which lounge I should use in LHR pre flight - I understand there maybe the Concorde lounge as well as the Club lounge?

Any recommendations gratefully received and I promise a full travel report in return :)

IF you are travelling in first from LHR, Concorde room is the best lounge(entrance level of lounge pavillion). If you are travelling club out of LHR the terraces near gate 2ish is a little less crowded than the lounge pavillon terraces (upper level of lounge pavillion) .Make sure you book a treatment at molton brown spa, (lower level of the lounge pavillion) first thing as they get very busy.

Great, many thanks for the info - am travelling out in First - I figured I could use the concorde lounge in LHR and also be awake for the whole First experience rather than sleeping my way through it on the overnight back :D. Will definately try and book a treatment at the Spa too- can I book in advance or just on the day?!

I've used both the Concorde Room and the Club lounge, and yes the CR is the better of the two. I must say I actually preferred the LHR CH (the old one at that) to the CR though overall - yes the CR champagne list was much, much better than the CH but it was the overall service that let it down when I was there (Dec 2002).

Agree with jaguar on the MB spa, get down there pronto to make a booking.

Thanks,
Richard

Thanks for the info guys - I hear the spa is open from 4:30am (my flights not till 11am) so I am currently trying to resist the temptation to get there as it opens and then drown myself in champagne [}:)]
