My package was including the V-Room and I have to say that I was well impressed with it. I'm used to fly in Business Class but the V-Room was really nice indeed. I particularly liked the fact that Virgin Holidays reps would go round to talk to people and try to help with any questions, issues or problems. A really nice touch. We boarded when our row was called and very quickly settled. The seat was good with a unusual feel of space despite the 31 inches ... Our take-off was slightly delayed but nothing too serious. Once on our way, the IFE was started, however most of the first Economy section had issues with it so the whole system had to be rebooted. As I still have to fly on a plane that doesn't encounter those issues with IFE, I wasn't too bothered, it looks like it's part of the whole experience ...

Service was generally good but I can't help thinking that it was a bit unpersonal and cold. I fully appreciate that it was Economy but I still think that a genuine smile can go a long way. Food was very decent, both for lunch and afternoon tea.
Nothing to call home for, of course but it was adequate.
We landed in Orlando on time and as we were the only arriving plane at the time, didn't have to wait for more than 10 minutes at immigration and probably another 10 for the luggage.
We were that quick that our driver was actually not even there yet when we got to Arrivals.
All in all, a very decent flight. IFE and food were much better than my usual holiday airlines (charters for most of them). However, charters beat Virgin and BA on legroom in Economy ... 2-3 inches that make all the difference ...
I've now flown both Upper and Economy Class with Virgin and as much as you obviously can't compare them, Virgin's got a solid hard product on both classes. Cabin crew was the only downside as my experience in Upper Class was so good, mainly thanks to the cabin crew, that I had high expectations on this matter ...
My January 2014 holiday is already booked so I'm looking forward to fly Virgin once again on my way to Florida !
