Checked about 30 hours before take-off and our seats were still 63A & 63C

About 30 mins before OLCI opens, I logged in and found out that Virgin had moved us without explanation/email/ phone call into 58B & 58C

After spending 35 minutes on the phone to Virgin, they could offer no explantion and even suggested it was for weight distribution! There was nothing they can do!

Upon check-in at LGW we asked again and the lady went away to find out to discover that the Border Agency were deporting 2 men and needed a further 11 seats for their "minders".
She gave us Fastrak stickers to get through security quickly only to find that the staff there could not use the system as the scanner operators password would not work! After a few calls of "try xxxx or yyyy" they finally logged in [good job that wasnt at my company!]
We went through into the No.1 Lounge and really appreciated it, thanks Amex

VS staff on plane were just OK, nothing to write home about but we were surrounded by Jamaicans who kept pushing the back of our seats whilst using the Vera Touch IFE. Why oh why did VS not have handsets plus there were no instructions on how to use the system which was turned on about 40 mins after take off.
Flight Deck crew made some announcement prior to take off but it could not be heard very well. We never heard from them again until our approach into MBJ so I have no idea of our routing other than to use Skymap which isnt as good as the BA equivilent offering.
Our Vera sound is very muffled and screen poor.
Baggage arrived in hall fairly promptly and immigration checks very efficient at MBJ
Found Couples Negril Lounge very easily when landside.
