Well, regular Club BA traveller here (work related in Mumbai - until VS have proper UCS..)

Did check in previous night - no advantage there - having done PE in VS for previous 8 trips in last 5 years, no specific UCS check in so fairly lenghty queue. Our fault, but worth the early check in to ensure nights rest, not so early check in and 14 days car parking at the Renaissance.

Following morning saw CH visit - bad move - champagne and breakfast meant not hungry on our flight - well for a while anyway...

Superb staff, great seats - 6A and 6K - and the steak, when we were hungry was very good. Champagne - what I remember was very good too!

Flight left about 30 min late, though boarding nothing special. Arrived 30 mins early into BGI - via East coast rather than West (and my wife had bagged 6A for West coast arrival...)

Have to say BA CW better as seat but VS UCS better as bed...

Ken, thanks for the report.

(and my wife had bagged 6A for West coast arrival...)

Do the A seats get a good view when coming into Barbados then? My parents have 8A & 9A in January.

Thanks,

David.

David,

Normally the 'A' seats are the best and you getan excellent view of the west coast as you come in.

On this basis my better half had A, I had K - and we came in via the East Coast instead this time!!

Observations during our stay were that the West Coast for inbound was maintained.

Ken
