Cosmic Girl rostered for this flight which all ran more or less on time. Usual high standard of service throughout although cabin staff could have been more attentive to passengers thirst quenching requirements which were largely ignored in our group.

2 big dissapointments for us though as follows -

1 - Having taken great care to book seats in close proximity for our group 6 months ahead which were confirmed on online check in it was very frustrating to find ourselves scattered all around the aircraft when we actually boarded. This begs the question of what exactly is the point of online seat booking, not one of our group of 10 ended up in any of the seats I had pre-reserved.

2 - The V-Port system ran smoothly for about the first 60 minutes but then broke down more or less completely for about an hour then returned to a very limited service with most seats having access to a limited number of games or a limited number of Non demand movies. Compensation letters were issued but this is not the first time I have experienced this problem.

All in all a good service spoilt by a couple of silly irritations.

Sorry to hear you had a less that 100% flight but at least you ended up in one of the world's greatest cities!

Out of interest, did Virgin offer a cash or miles in their compensation letter?
