This was a short trip to NY for the weekend, so opted for economy given the relatively short nature of the flight.

Arrived early to get rid of the cases etc, and headed off to security where we were straight through Fast-Track in no time, to find additional screening after security where all bags/shoes were being re-screened. Previously Immigration had been carrying out ID checks on departing pax at this point.

Availed ourselves of the services in the CH, had a v. nice breakfast and Mrs. Viz had a facial which she really enjoyed.

Called at 9am for the flight and more or less straight onto the plane and into our bulkhead seats somewhere around row 30.

Having had breakfast in the CH, we didn't bother with any of the food on the plane and settled down to watch films etc. Hardly saw sight or sound of the crew, but no problems really and a very uneventful flight. Arrived early at JFK and we were off the plane, through immigration and out with our bags in under 25 mins.

Enjoy NY! THanks for the TR. You were out of the airport quickly! [^]

I think it's one of the benefits of getting the early flight out - you arrive at midday, and JFK does seem to be pretty quiet in T4 at lunchtime. I've been through JFK around this time 4-5 times in the last couple of months, and it seems consistently quiet and empty.

Cool, I will have to remember that! Thanks! [y]
