Travelling with 6 other family members for the first time so a bit stressed about a larger party, normally just the two of us. Eight seater minivan for the trip to LGW arrived without incident just before 9. Very quiet in the check in area, surprising given it was a bank holiday weekend. Used the dedicated PE check in. Quite a lengthy process and the agent was less than inspiring. When I checked in online the previous day I had a problem with my printer so only half of the the boarding cards came out ok. Also for some obscure reason on 6 of the Pax were listed as available to reprint. A couple of calls to VS the confirm that we were all indeed checked in. The agent was ok but a bit glum and said very little during the 20 minute process. Through security is a couple of minutes and then on to Frankie and Bennys for breakfast. Still major work going on in the airside departures area but this was also very quiet. Gate info supplied on time and off to gate 13 where Ruby Tuesday was waiting. Usual boarding routine and push back just before 1pm. Welcome drink before takeoff and 8hrs 30 flight time announced. Out along the south coast then landfall just north of Space centre, gtreat view of the VAB. The flight itself was smooth and uneventful. Cc very good. Drinks run before dinner, wine with dinner and brandy etc after. Arrived at mco about 5 mins early and the welcome sight of an empty immigration hall was well received. Very pleasant agent with a GSOH :0 . Bags off in 10 mins ni problem with customs and were in the cars at 5.45. All in all could not ask for anything more from the journey. Well done VS. :D

The meal was poor and no choice by the time it got to us, we were in 19A-C. The choice was beef stroganoff and chicken with some sort or mustard coating. Rolls were cold and the desert was not memorable (as in I cannot remember ;) ). We had a packed lunch as standby for both lunch and tea. Never a big fan or airline food so a three was not bad for me. No we were just happy that the flight left on time arrived early. No lines at immigration. My idea of perfection, it's just a means to and end. The weather here is fantastic, sitting on the deck at 10:10 and it's 82 degrees two beers ice cold and ready to drink, heaven, watching the Heat vs Bulls playoffs. Discovery Cove tomorrow :D
